Our Wedding

Hank and Molly met in April 2021 at the annual “Kicker Dance,” a Grayson County tradition for high school seniors. Growing up in neighboring towns, Molly had heard Hank's name for years from mutual friends. Hank was the hired musical entertainment at the Kicker Dance, and Molly somehow found herself at the very front of the crowd (after some minor pushing and shoving) to listen to him sing. Like all who hear him, she was immediately captivated by his voice and made it her mission to be conveniently near him all night. Hank finally asked her to dance, and her favorite two-stepping song, “I Just Want to Dance With You” by George Strait, began to play. From that night on, they were inseparable, spending the summer making memories before heading to colleges hundreds of miles apart. For the next three and a half years, they made phone calls, long weekend drives, and “Georgetown Dates”—the halfway point on I-35 between San Marcos and Waco. After Molly moved to Austin for graduate school, Hank proposed on August 16, 2025.We cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter with you. Each of you has touched our lives, and we are so honored to have you share in our wedding day!

Think polished yet playful! Guests are encouraged to dress in garden-party-inspired cocktail wear. Long dresses and bright florals are perfect! For men, suits are great, or opt for khaki pants paired with a button-down for a more relaxed look. While cocktail hour will be outdoors, the celebration will take place mostly inside, so dress comfortably for both settings.

We highly recommend ordering a Cactus Pryor Margarita, sharing the famous Bob Armstrong Dip, and trying the Asadero Tacos. It's the perfect spot to enjoy delicious food and a true Austin tradition.
